This course is required for new drivers in Connecticut

  • 8-Hour virtual safe driving Course

    8-Hour Virtual Safe Driving Course

    Can be taken by teens (16+) and adults

    Via Zoom

    Flexible schedule

  • Teens driving

    Teens - Hold Permit for 180 Days

    Covers topics like safe driving, dangers of distraction and following traffic laws

    Via Zoom

    Teens (16+) must complete the 8-Hour Safe Driving Practices Course to get their driver’s license

    It includes a 2-hour session for parents or guardians

    After finishing, teens receive a certificate required by the DMV to apply for their license

  • Adults - Hold Permit for 90 Days

    Adults - Hold Permit for 90 Days

    Covers topics like defense driving, risk of impaired and distracted driving traffic rules

    Via Zoom

    Adults (18+) are required to complete the 8-Hour Safe Driving Practices Course to get their driver’s license

    After completing, participants receive a certificate required by the DMV to apply for their license
